We require the owners to control their own animals. This is not for every animal, just for the ones that are too aggressive to handle normally.
* For cats, this means being able to get them into a small bathroom or in a cage for examination. We do have Kevlar gloves and catch nets to use if needed, but the cats must be in an area where we can get to them. We will also not attempt to catch them if we feel we or the animals are at risk.
* For dogs, this means getting the dog on a leash and muzzled if necessary. If an owner is able to hold a dog well enough, a muzzle may not be necessary. We do have sedatives, anti-anxiety medication, a syringe pole, and a dart gun, but if these are necessary, we may not be able to do everything in one visit. One visit will be to come out to prescribe medication, and the second visit will be to address the reason for the visit to begin with. Having over 30 years of experience dealing with the worst of the worst, we can generally help, but we cannot compromise our safety, as well as the safety of everyone in the home which include the animals. We will discontinue an exam if we feel that there is too great of risk to humans or animals.
We charge a $99 House Call to come out. This includes a physical exam and consultation on one animal. Tests and medications are additional. We charge a $30 Brief Exam for any additional animals. We do not charge a House Call if we do a Full Dog Yearly, Full Cat Yearly, Euthanasia, or for the Minor Surgeries. We will charge a house call once we step foot onto the property. The house call is the charge for us to come to your location, which includes the gas and employee time spent heading to your location. We still charge a house call even if we do not examine any animals.
Clients who want rabies only are charged a $99 house call to come out, and $50 per animal for the rabies. The house call covers an exam on one animal. If you want an exam on additional animals, we charge a $30 brief exam per animal. The cash price makes it roughly $150 for rabies only on one animal with a check or credit card, or roughly $120 cash.

If your pet is over 90 pounds, we may need assistance getting them in the truck if we need to take them with us. If your pet is over 150 pounds, we will need multiple people to help if we need to take them with us. Any dogs over 100 lbs will be an additional fee to cover the increased cost of medications for their size
If we determine that for everyone's safety that we need to use the dart gun to sedate the dog, we charge a $100 surcharge for the dart gun. The use of the dart gun will be determined by Dr. Deibler and in the case he decides it needs to be used, the dart gun and surcharge are non-negotiable.
